In 2020, I designed a Business English curriculum for middle managers in international e-commerce based in Vietnam. From evaluating the current curriculum, interviewing participants, and defining the company’s expansion trajectory, I developed English courses tapping on linear thinking and cross-cultural communication. For example, the courses would employ the Pyramid Principles of McKinsey as a backbone to structure ideas coherently and logically in data reports. Thanks to the immediate improvements of the participants and word of mouth, more corporates want to form partnerships with my company to adopt a similar English-enrichment program.
