Office of State Superintendent of Education in Washington D.C.

  • Oversaw monitoring for $500M in federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief funds across 65+ Local Education Agencies, leading to strengthened oversight and risk mitigation

  • Evaluated SOAR, Educator Pipeline, and Third-Party grants, leading to streamlined application criteria and targeted capacity-building

  • Authored 5 monitoring reports guiding funding reallocation and compliance improvements

  • Initiated a shift from compliance-driven to impact-focused grant practices, improving fund utilization and stakeholder confidence among grantees

  • Supported cross-agency decision-making by analyzing multi-year grantee data and contributing to performance dashboards used by senior leadership

As a research assistant, I have:

  • Develop and implement the fidelity rubric to evaluate the effectiveness of the Professional Learning Community trainings for Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Hub Leaders

  • Develop and implement the fidelity rubric to evaluate the quality and feasibility of 107 trauma-responsive action plans submitted by Illinois schools

  • Research, synthesize and write the Literature Review about the design, implementation, and effectiveness of trauma-responsive schools

  • Design the protocols to interview 7 SEL Hub Leaders and develop the quantitative coding

  • Prepare reports to describe and interpret the interview results of 100 participants from the Community of Practice under the REACH Trauma-Responsive Program

  • Evaluated partnership grants to assess post-graduation outcomes and authored a case study showcasing impact and strategic recommendations

  • Designed a Theory of Change and measurement framework for an educator pipeline initiative, aligning performance metrics with strategic goals

  • Audited and redesigned data management systems, developing a dashboard to improve data accuracy, transparency, and stakeholder decision-making

  • Led survey and interview tool refinement, piloting, and data collection to strengthen the reliability of evaluation instruments

  • Facilitated co-creation meetings and equity-focused data-use workshops with clients and education stakeholders
